  • Sparring

    Duration: 1 hour; Free. Looking to start exploring the world of martial arts? Sometimes it's best to go in feet first. This taekwondo sparring class is an excellent way to up your kicking game. You'll have the opportunity to practice taekwondo techniques against a live opponent in a controlled environment. Stationary drills will only take you so far. This is the perfect way to increase you ability to fight in actual circumstances, whether you're preparing for a tournament, or ensuring that you can defend yourself successfully should the situation ever arise. Build your confidence in your ability to square off against an opponent, and work up a sweat at the same time. Also, kicking people does wonders for stress release.

    • Participate in a sparring-focused taekwondo class with professional martial arts instructors

    • Develop your ability to read and react to opponent by putting your moves to work in simulated scenarios

    • Get a great workout while building your confidence in your fighting skills, and letting off some steam

    • Note: This is a free trial class for for first time attendees only.

  • Martial Arts: Weapons

    Duration: 1 hour; Free. Martial arts training may have you confident that you can take an unarmed assailant, but what do you do when someone brings a knife to a fist fight? This weapons training course will teach you the art of defending yourself against weapons-based attacks, as well as how to use weapons to gain the advantage. You'll work with sticks, staffs, knives, and even swords, learning to block and strike in a variety of situational drills and exercises. You'll also learn how to best defend yourself against a gun attack should the unthinkable ever occur. It's good to be confident. It's better to be prepared.

    • Learn to use and defend against a variety of classic and improvised weapons in a martial arts studio

    • Develop your ability to read and block incoming attacks, and to execute effective counters

    • Build your confidence in your ability to successfully defend yourself against an armed assailant

    • Note: This is a free trial class for first time attendees only.
